Adobe Creative SDK Integration

Morpholio integrated workflow features from the Creative SDK in their Board Pro App to give users needed access to their content across devices. Using the Send to Desktop API from the Creative SDK, Morpholio users can now send their design work from the Board app straight to Photoshop CC on the desktop.

Files sent to Photoshop CC will have layers preserved as Adobe Photoshop .PSD files. In lieu of having to email files to themselves, users can now collage, organize or layout designs in the Board app and seamlessly continue working on the desktop.

Adobe tools, like Photoshop CC and Illustrator CC, are some of the most widely used, comprehensive creative tools out there for design teams. Adobe add-ons, easy to download integrations that live directly in our creative tools, are a vital part to creative businesses, helping design team optimize their productivity and streamline their workflow — from right within their Photoshop CC, Illustrator CC, or Indesign CC screen.

Adsynergy, a growing creative agency, has had tremendous success with GoProof, an add-on that streamlines the proofing process with clients by making design collaboration simple and time-effective. GoProof is one of the most advanced proofing tools available, designed to revolutionize the productivity of Adobe Creative Cloud users and creative marketing teams.

The team at adsynergy began using GoProof after a successful demo, which displayed to them how well the add-on would fit with their existing workflow — and ultimately improve it.

All of a sudden, the weight of my files has gone down because I can get instant approval. It feels a lot safer than saving out a file,” said Ryan Hadley, Head of Design at adsynergy. “You proof, send it off and it’s done. And I have a record. The simplicity is good.”

They’ve also seen a boost in time efficiency when it comes to their own work. Being able to access GoProof from within Creative Cloud tools greatly improves adsynergy’s design workflow. . With GoProof, they no longer need to save and export a large number of files, search for version numbers, or sort through separate documents with feedback. Instead, all the changes are recorded and shown right there with the proof. Reviewers are also able to comment directly on the shared proof.

In addition, their clients have been happy with the adoption of GoProof, as it has enabled  deeper conversations, inviting collaboration in a process that used to be more disparate. Ryan said, “[GoProof]  saves a lot of time. It streamlines everything and takes out missing files and misunderstandings. It’s a better way to communicate.”

With GoProof, adsynergy has the ability to reassure their clients that they have a strong, simple review process, save their team precious time, and streamline their workflow.

Pikazo is an app that gives users the ability to create incredible art by combining photos with their highly advanced neural network AI. The AI allows users to paint any image in the style of another and users can submit a variety of photos and remix them together to create a completely original piece of artwork. Creative SDK Integration

Pikazo integrated the Adobe Creative SDK to give their users increased functionality which allows them to go even further with their Pikazo creations. Users can edit their Pikazo photos with the Image Editor before and after manipulation with the integration of the Image Editor, fine-tuning the images until they get exactly what they want. And now, once a user has finished rendering their artwork in Pikazo, they can send it to straight to the desktop version of Adobe Photoshop CC for final edits with just the tap of a button, thanks to Pikazo’s integration with the Send to Desktop API.

This week, we’re super excited to showcase PANTONE Studio and their integration with the Creative SDK.

PANTONE Studio is the first new digital product launched by Pantone in years and was developed in response to customers asking for a more connected and accessible way to work with Pantone color, as well as a means for starting the inspiration process using the Pantone language.

Rather than act as a simple color reference, PANTONE Studio serves to meet all of these needs by facilitating a full workflow that begins by converting inspiration (colors, images, search terms, insights) to Pantone color palettes, visualizing those palettes on various materials, graphics and vectors, and enabling designers to share palettes to their design workflow or on social media.

Adobe Creative SDK Integration

Pantone integrated our Creative Cloud Libraries API to build a critical link in making this full workflow available and seamless for designers, and early feedback indicates that use of the Creative SDK has been a value-added feature, primarily for digital designers.

As Pantone further improves the Studio app and explores new product ideas, the complementary nature of Pantone’s colors to the Adobe Creative Cloud will provide more opportunities to connect designers between Pantone and Adobe using the Creative SDK.

Partner Spotlight: Archisketch

We’re happy to spotlight another partner this week, Archisketch!

Archisketchs brings sketches to life

Archisketch by Urban Design, LLC is a scale-aware sketching program ideal for Architects, interior and landscape designers, product designers, design students, or anyone working with design on an iPad.

Inspired by the tradition of sketching on a tracing pad, Archisketch brings sketching into the modern era on an iPad. Archisketch helps architects and designers visualize, capture and explore their ideas using layers, symbols, colours, dimension guidelines, 2D grids, isometric and axonometric 3D grids, and even smart one- and two-point perspectives for 3D. When finished, drawings can be printed to scale directly from the iPad up to A1 size, or exported to PDF, into a CAD application, or to Adobe Creative Cloud.

The Urban Design team just released version 2.0 of Archisketch. In addition to a bunch of new exciting features, Archisketch now allows users to connect with Creative Cloud. Users can now import images from Creative Cloud, or export their work directly to Creative Cloud.

Adobe Creative SDK Integration

Upload to Adobe Cloud from Archisketch

Urban Design gave users the ability to connect with the Creative Cloud by integrating the Creative SDK’s Content Management component, which allows users to share and export their files and creations directly to the Adobe Creative Cloud.

To give Archisketch users the ability to import from Creative Cloud, Urban Design chose to integrate the Asset Browser, which allows users to import from Creative Cloud Files, Creative Cloud Libraries, and Lightroom Photos.

The Asset Browser is a quick and easy integration, but we understand that a provided UI component may not meet every developer’s needs. You can also build a more custom import solution by using the Creative Cloud Libraries, Creative Cloud Files, and Lightroom Photos APIs.
